Its so strange. Nelson is full of hippies yet the people who run the place are all conservative. i just dont know how they get into that place of power.

what part of town are you living in? ottawa hybernates in the winter (what canadian city/town doesnt) but if you know the right people, winter can be warm and cozy full of art parties, improve theatre art, wonderful community potlucks and parties
